Press release of Navy HQ to interpret “2017 Navy Fellowship Fleet returning home” (16th May 2017)

After 56 days of foreign training course and visiting, 2017 Navy Fellowship Fleet returned home on May 16.

It has been a profound tradition of Navy force since 1966. The main goal is a practice for Navy graduates and this year the fleet was composed of one La-Fayette class warship, one Cheng-Kung class warship and Panshi Fast Combat Support Ship. The training course is to combine the academic theory with practical experience.

Apart from the tasks the fleet also ran exercises during the course and for leisure time all crew enjoyed the activities on the ships to keep the moral and atmosphere.

The Fellowship Fleet was born to improve the far-sea ability of each crew member and have graduates master the equipment and weapon systems on the ships. The place where the fleet went to was always full of Taiwanese at local who cannot be excluded from Navy's family.
